My Favorites Photos of 2013

I am so grateful to be able to grow and learn in photography. I look back even just to the beginning of this year and see how much I have changed and grown in photography. I am thankful for all of the wonderful people I have met along the way and friends I have gained and will continue to gain!

This little guy was so curious during the photo shoot and his eyes are GORGEOUS

The eyes of a girl in love

Chloe at 9 months

Can you believe this is the same little girl in the picture above???

I took this at the beginning of the year and Kelly was absolutely glowing!

I was a little bummed that this picture didn't turn out exactly how I planned but I was listening to Taylor Swift while editing and her lyrics just NEEDED to be in this sweet picture

SO SO gorgeous! This girl was my neighbor for about 6 years and she was also my co worker for quite a while. Such a beautiful girl!

This boy was so incredibly in character for Halloween that he made the picture creepy! He was so clearly Frankenstein!

My sweet sweet little sister. She is growing like a weed and becoming such a gorgeous young lady.

Her face just reminded me of innocence, happiness, light, and the sweet moments of childhood. Her eyes are so bright and happy!

And this young man, there was this brief moment where he seemed to get lost in thought as his mom blew bubbles for him! Perfection

These two are of the gorgeous transformation of my cousin. She lost quite a bit of weight and worked her butt off for it!

Love this moment. She was definitely in her element here.

As you can tell I'm a sucker for black and white photos. This beauty was a senior this year and she was so much fun to work with. This capture was one of my favorites in her shoot.

I was playing with edits on this one and found that I loved the honey look I got it to. Reminds me of a vintage summer.

Gorgeous Matte Photo

This was one of the very first photos I took with my new camera and it came out so bright and colorful I fell in love with it immediately.

Love the all black shoes. They were so ready for their baby!

Sister. Her youngest sister CLEARLY looked up to her. The older girl and her boyfriend have become some of my husbands and mine best friends. And it was because of this photo shoot that that happened. We both had our handsome men tag along and they immediately had a bromance. :-)

Miranda, so gorgeous and fun. She was willing to get in thick shrubs to let me get this! I wanted the yellow flowers around her and she just jumped right in!

This picture just screams Boho goddess to me

Just. So. Sweet.

Sadie was being so cooperative while her little sister was having a hard time. She was looking over the fence at the river and thought our dirty river was chocolate milk. :-) She is so sassy but this just brought out the sweetness in her.

So romantic. And the sky was absolutely perfect.

These sisters wanted to have a little fun and did just that! So cute and full of personality!

These two recently had their baby but I got to capture them before their 3rd addition was welcomed to the world. They were so warm and ready to be parents. We were at the perfect spot to capture that "glowing" about them :-)

This wasn't really planned which makes it all the better. She was just flipping her hair to the side and didn't let me know and it happened! Love it!

Same girl as the picture above. I remember this moment because I had to try and make her laugh. We were co workers for a while so we were comfortable with each other and I just said silly little things and made her hold a forced smile until she laughed. This picture captures her personality perfectly! She is warm, loving and definitely a happy person! I'm sad she moved to far away!

Again, my beautiful long time neighbor!

This sweet little girl was the only girl amongst brothers and she was so full of personalty and her eyes absolutely blew me away!

The perfect picture for this father and son. So cute!
